(ALWAYS click the refresh button when searching our site to update all information.)
Required Testing Years:
All students in grades 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12 are required to test.
Testing Dates Available:
Available dates provided upon request
Students need to arrive at 8:45 am
9:00 am-12:00 pm - Tue., Wed. and Thur.
Cost of Testing:
$50 per student if paid one week before scheduled test date
- Payment should be made one week prior to scheduled test date
$60 if paid day of testing
Payment may be made by check, cash, or Pay Pal.
There is a $50 charge for missing a scheduled test date without a 48 hour notice or doctor's excuse.
(Our test slots are limited to 8 per test day; therefore, forfeiture of a slot without a 48 hour notice makes it impossible for us to schedule someone else in that slot, thus the forfeiture charge.)
Inclement weather may cause cancellation of a test date. In that case we post closing information on our homepage. (Please click on the home page and refresh it to ensure it is properly updated.)
Things to Bring:
Drink with screw-on lid
Calculator (NOT Cell Phone)
(Drinks and food MUST NOT be consumed at computers.)
Information About Testing Rules:
4924 Ft. Henry Drive, Suite C
Kingsport, TN 37663
Students MUST be at school at 8:45am (Doors will open at 8:45 am exactly) Late comers may not be allowed to test as we do not want to interrupt other testers.
Students may bring a cell phone, but they MUST be placed on silent while on campus and they MUST NOT be used during testing.
DRINKS and FOOD:
Drinks and food MUST not be consumed at computer stations. (They may be consumed in appointed areas only.) Drinks must have a screw-on lid and snacks should be simple and not create a mess.
Students may take a bathroom break as needed but each student must inform testing coordinator he or she is breaking and must give notice upon return.
It is expected that students will be orderly and compliant during their time of testing. They should arrive on time, be quiet and non-disruptive to others, listen to and follow instructions, quietly inform testing coordinator of need to begin each new section, ask questions quietly and as needed, and treat others with respect and kindness.
Test results are usually available within 15 minutes of test completion; there have been rare delays due to system capabilities. As is available, the staff will provide test results to PARENTS but it is the school's policy NOT to discuss results with students. (We believe it is the parent's decision to or not to provide those results to their child(ren). If the parent does not pick the child up from testing, the staff will deliver the results in a sealed envelope for the student to give to the parent. Staff may discusses results with students upon parental request.)
